Chanteé Lans is an Emmy and Edward R. Murrow Award-winning journalist and serves as a reporter and fill-in anchor for WABC-TV Channel 7 Eyewitness News in New York.
She previously contributed to The New York Times and has reported on some of the nation's most significant stories, including an interview with President Joe Biden, coverage of the Boston Marathon bombings, the sexual assault trial of Bill Cosby, and the imprisonment and release of rapper Meek Mill—reporting that helped spotlight criminal justice reform efforts in Pennsylvania and across the United States.
Born in Brooklyn and raised on Long Island, Chanteé earned a bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism from Temple University and a master's degree in Global Development from St. John's University.
